Mixed basketball provides a social competition option for players who want to participate in a mixed team environment. Norths may enter teams where there is sufficient player interest and an appropriate Basketball ACT competition is available.
SENIORS BASKETBALL
Norths Basketball Club enters senior teams in Basketball ACT competitions for players with different levels of experience and competitive ambition. Norths coordinates team entry, player placement and Club administration, while Basketball ACT manages the competitions.

SENIOR PREMIER
Senior Premier League is Basketball ACT's high-level senior competition. It is intended for experienced players seeking competitive basketball at an advanced standard.
Player selection and team placement may apply. Opportunities, trials and registration arrangements depend on the season and the requirements of each team.

MASTERS
Masters competitions provide opportunities for eligible players aged 35 and over. Norths may enter teams where there is sufficient interest and competition availability.
Competition formats and availability may change between seasons. Current Norths opportunities, registration periods and expressions of interest will be published through Norths Notices.

REGISTRATION AND TRANSFERS
RETURNING PLAYERS
Returning players will generally be contacted by the Norths Senior Coordinator or their team representative when registration opens. Eligible players will receive the registration instructions or link appropriate to their competition and team.
NEW PLAYERS
New players should submit a Seniors Enquiry before registering. Please include relevant playing experience, the preferred competition or grade and any other information that may assist with team placement.
Placement cannot be guaranteed and will depend on team vacancies, player numbers and competition availability.
TRANSFERRING PLAYERS
Players transferring from another club may need to complete the applicable transfer process through the official registration system. The previous club may be required to approve the transfer.
A transferring player must not take the court for Norths until all required approvals, registration requirements and eligibility checks have been completed.

VIEW REGISTRATION NOTICESTRAINING
Training arrangements vary between Senior Premier, Senior Social and other senior teams. Where a team has scheduled training, the venue and time will be provided by the team's coach, manager or Norths representative.
Players should advise their team contact as early as possible if they cannot attend a scheduled training session.
UNIFORMS
Senior players must have the approved Norths playing uniform. Playing numbers are allocated by the Club, and uniforms are purchased through the Norths online shop.

FIND SENIOR GAMESPLAYER AVAILABILITY
Players who cannot attend a game or training session should advise their team manager or coach as early as possible using the communication method established for the team.
TEAM DUTIES
Senior teams may be required to provide bench officials or complete other competition duties. Team managers will coordinate these responsibilities where applicable.
Failure to provide a required duty may result in competition penalties for the team or Club.

PLAYER SAFETY AND INSURANCE
Registered Basketball ACT participants are covered under the applicable national insurance arrangements for sanctioned basketball activities, subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of that insurance.
